Phil & Stacy
California, USA
My wife and I are serious foodies from California who wanted to visit special places on our first visit to Japan. Bruce took us out for some fine dining and drinks afterwards. It was so much fun, we all met again for breakfast. Our personal tour wasn't complete until Stacy got to try the infamous "natto" and purchase a souvenir: a custom, left-handed Japanese chef's knife with her initials engraved. Unforgettable!

Hong Kong
We are extremely well-traveled thanks to my job as a pilot. When it comes to food, Bruce shows us great places in Japan and even Hong Kong. From the most humble, Cheung Hing Kee Shanghai Pan-fried Buns to popcorn with powdered truffles and exotic cocktails at the Ozone Bar on the 118th floor of the Ritz-Carlton in Kowloon. High indeed.

I'm on the road constantly for work. When I have time to enjoy fine dining, I contact Bruce for meals in Japan or Korea. Last time, we met in Busan. Bruce turned me on to some very fresh sea eel. In fact, it was still wiggling while we sautéed it at our table. l didn't flinch. That impressed him.

Hakata is one of the best places for a foodie. We have a lot of special foods, drinks, and interesting restaurants here. You will enjoy our city's world-famous fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables and local sake, without relying on a guidebook.
I grew up near Hakata, so I can guide you to wonderful restaurants that local people know. We are very happy to show you around!

嘿,你吃了吗?This Chinese greeting means "Hi, have you eaten?" It's one way to say "How are you?" Personally I love SPICY food the most. I know some very good restaurants here having explored them with friends from Japan and all over the world. I love communication with people from different cultures. Let me show you what's out there in this lovely city!

I've been guiding ever since I got here in 1985, recently for global entrepreneurs during the G20 Economic Summit in Fukuoka. Have dined my way through 50 countries. Prior to moving here, was guiding for the World Affairs Council in the USA. Fukuoka is one of the best foodie cities. Locally-sourced ingredients are superb, and creative chefs abound. See you soon!

Hi, I'm Ling. I travel all around the world for my work and for me, the best food is Japanese. It's like art and the service is great. I really like to eat and I'm available for lunches when you come to town. I will show you the best local, traditional food. I know places that are reasonable and really amazing.
